Dowerin War Memorial was originally erected to commemorate the fallen soldiers of World War One. The memorial contains the names of the fallen and includes those who fought in World War Two and Korea.
 
The memorial was unveiled by Mr C.G. Latham, MLA on Anzac Day 1936. The dedication ceremony was performed by Reverend G Arblaster, Anglican Rector of Dowerin.
