This memorial, which commemorates the fallen of World War One, World War Two and Vietnam, replaced the original memorial dedicated on 1 January 1922 which is now in the Broome Historical Museum. It is a large brick and stone monument with paved surroundings, lighting and flag poles.

A new memorial wall and upgrades to the existing memorial were added to commemorate the Centenary of ANZAC and World War One.
