The Stansbury Memorial Tree commemorates those who lost their lives in World War One and World War Two.

The Moreton Bay Fig tree was originally planted in front of the Stansbury (Dalrymple) Institute in 1910 and moved to the foreshore in 1922 where a plaque commemorating the fallen of both world wars was erected in front of the tree at a later date.
