A monument commemorates those from the district who served in World War One and World War Two.

The Acting-Premier (Mr. J. G. Bice), who, in company with the Inspector General of Hospitals (Dr. B. H. Morris), and Mr. McMillan. M.P. (the member for the district), left Adelaide on Saturday morning for Pinnaroo to unveil a war memorial on Sunday, returned to Adelaide on Monday.
