Soldiers Memorial ParkPrint Page
A park commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.d.
Metal entrance gates to the park are supported by two white concrete pillars, each surmounted with a red ball.
At a representative public meeting in the Town Hall on July 12th, the final report of the Planning Committee was presented, together with the scheme drawn up by the Town Planner, and was adopted unanimously. The excellent proposals submitted by the Town Planner have now become the official design for Peterborough's Soldier Memorial Park and only needs the co-operation and support of the townspeople to be come an accomplished fact.
