The Millicent Returned Services League (RSL) Memorial Club was erected in memory of those who served.
At the monthly meeting of the District Council of Millicent the Secretary to the Millicent Sub Branch of the R.S.S. & A.I.L.A. (Mr. V. A. Willshire) wrote, ask ing whether it would be possible for the Council to let the sub branch have, or acquire, the block of Council property with frontage to Davenport Street, and with a depth of 120 feet, for the purpose of building a club room. On the motion of Cr. J. W Williams and G. W. Altschwager it was decided to transfer the block to the R.S.A. free of cost.
