War Nurses Memorial GardenPrint Page
The gardens were established in 2003 as a memorial to commemorate the brave and compassionate service of nurses during times of war. Lush lawns and seating are surrounded by roses. A number of commemorative plaques are placed around the bronze fountain honouring their contributions.
A bust of local Kapunda woman and nurse, Vivian Bullwinkle is a feature and contains a plaque listing the names of nurses who have lost their lives in conflicts since the Boer War.
