Plaque commemorates the 10th Battalion (formerly The Adelaide Rifles) soldiers that served in the Boer War, the 10th Battalion during World War One and 2/10th Battalion during World War Two. 10th Battalion soldiers were among the first wave of Australians to land at ANZAC Cove, Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.
