The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial was originally erected in memory of those from the district who served in World War One and lists the names of those who lost their lives. The names of the fallen of World War Two were added to the memorial at a later date.

A plaque has been added to the memorial to commemorate post World War Two conflicts. The memorial also contains an Australia Remembers Plaque as well as plaques listing the names of those who fell in World War One who were not listed on the memorial.
