The War Memorial commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial was originally erected in memory of those from the district who lost their lives in World War One and lists the names of the fallen. The names of those who died in World War Two were added to the memorial at a later date. An Australia Remembers plaque is also located on the memorial.
