This monument commemorates 100 years of servie given by Australian Nurses in all wars, from the Boer War, through two world wars and all other conflicts to the year 2000.

 

This memorial is dedicated to Nurses both military and civilian who suffered and died whilst representing Australia in times of conflict.

This monument was officially opened by Mrs Wilma Young AM, (nee Sister Oram) a former POW of the Japanese
