A monument commemorates the servicemen and servicewomen who have served in various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. A plaque has been added to the memorial to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.  Around the monument is a garden which has a rose for each local man who lost their lives in the conflicts.
