The gate at the entrance to the Memorial Cross Reserve commemorates those who have died in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. There is also a plaque dedicated to those who lost their lives in World War Two. 

The gateway was relocated and rededicated in 1997 as part of the master plan for the Memorial Cross Reserve.
