A monument commemorates the South African (Boer) War, World Wars One and Two, The Korean War, The Vietnam War and the Gulf War ; and the conflicts in Malaya and Borneo.

The monument was built in 1953 by Clarence "Snowy" Miller as a gift to the citizens of Mount Beauty and the Returned Services League.
