The hall commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two.

Originally a Sunday School, the foundation stone for the Sunday School was laid in 1917. The hall was extended in 1957 and became the Peace Memorial Hall.

This foundation stone was laid by Dr. S. C. Fitzpatrick on March 16th, 1957.
