The monument commemorates those who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

It consists of an arch with soldier statue, located at the entrance to the cream brick RSL Hall in Kirkland Street. The arch commemorates individuals who served in the First World War and was originally located at the Euroa Soldiers Memorial Hall.

There is a mosaic of bricks in front of the arch which contain the names of those who served in World War Two as well as plaques commemorating the Korean War and the 8th Australian Light Horse Regiment.
