The Cenotaph commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.  The Cenotaph was originally unveiled in memory of the fallen of World War One.

The panels bear the name of 202 soldiers from Wagga who were killed in World War One, and also commemorate those who were killed in World War Two and Vietnam.
