The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The memorial was originally erected to commemorate those who served in World War One. At the time of the unveiling 29 names were listed on the memorial with a further 8 names added to the memorial at a later date.  The memorial was rededicated on the 11th November 1995 to include all those who served their country.
