McCarthy Memorial ParkPrint Page 

The McCarthy Memorial park commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The park was officially opened on the 11th November 1979 and after alterations was re-opened on the 3rd of September 2008. The park contains the Smithfield War Memorial, the City of Fairfield Roll of Honour and behind the war memorial a brick wall containing plaques of deceased RSL members as well as other items of remembrance.
