The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The memorial was originally erected in memory of those from the Rylstone District who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two. An additional plaque was added at a later date to commemorate those who served and those who died in World War One, World War Two, Korea and Vietnam.
