Unveiled by the Governor of N.S.W. His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair A.C., R.A.N., Ret. 

22nd. May 1995.

Erected by the citizens of the city of Bankstown & Members of Padstow R.S.L. Sub-branch.

This site was originally unveiled on the 8th. April 1967 by Mr. J. A. Grant. J.P., R.S.L. State Councillor. Alderman R. S. Lockwood Mayor of Bankstown & Mr. E. E. Sarchfield B.E.M., J.P. President Padstow R.S.L.
