The monument commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. T

It was originally erected to commemorate those who served in World War One with the names of those killed in action during World War Two added to the memorial at a later date. Behind the monument is a wall containing several plaques and insignias. The monument was relocated to its present position in 1999 and the ground dedicated on the 11th November 2000.
