Plaque :

This Memorial Wall was built by the RSL Sub-Branch assisted by the Tweed Shire Council and the Kingscliff College of TAFE

Funded by donations from Department Of Veterans`Affairs, RSL, local organisations and the public.

Dedicated by the students of this town`s Schools as a memorial to all who have served this nation and as a reminder to future generations of the  sacrifice given to ensure that future.

Commemorating the service of 287000 young men called up for National Service in the Navy  Army and Air Force between 1951 and 1972.  212 were killed on active service overseas and approximately 1500 were wounded

6 Victoria Crosses awarded to Australians  161 other bravery awards
43,000 horses shipped over (none returned )   100 POWs
