Lithgow War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.   The monument was originally erected to commemorate World War One, but was rededicated on the 26th of October 2007 to commemorate all personnel in all conflicts. The gun, which was originally part of the war memorial enclosure, has been moved to an adjacent position and is now a separate memorial.
