Hornsby War Memorial Hall was erected in memory of those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The foundation stone was laid on Anzac Day 1955. The Memorial Hall was officially opened by Lieutenant General Sir Eric Woodward on the 8 December 1962. The hall was rededicated on 8 December 2012 by the Governor, Professor Marie Bashir.
