Bungendore War Memorial Hall was erected in memory of those who served in World war One.
The good citizens of Bungendore do nothing by halves. They are a community remarkable for the promptness and thoroughness with which they enter upon and carry to completeness everything they essay. In keeping with this trait of their character, they have determined upon capping all their previous acts of patriotism by erecting a Memorial Hall in perpetutation of the personnel and bravery of the many young men of their locality who have donned khaki and joined the allied armies in the cause of liberty, justice and righteousness. And more particularly to lastingly honor their illustrious dead.
