The roll of honour commemorates former students of the school who served in the conflicts in which Australia has been involved since the start of World War Two in 1939.

The honour roll was unveiled in 2000 during the 150th anniversary of the school.

The 150th anniversary of the Wangaratta Chisholm Street State Primary School NO 643, is being celebrated on March 25, 2000. A great weekend is planned including a book on the history of the school being launched, plus the unveiling of a Roll of Honor for all ex-students who have served their country in the services since World War 1.
