A monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial was originally erected in memory of those who served in World War One.

A forecourt was added to commemorate those who lost their lives in World War Two and additional plaques have been added to commemorate later conflicts. Behind the memorial is a wall listing the names of those who served.
