The Cenotaph Memorial commemorates the men and women of the district who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

This new memorial replaces the original war memorial which was located on the median strip of the Mulligan Highway. Plaques from the old memorial were incorporated into the cenotaph.
