The ANZAC Way Memorial was erected by the Vietnam Veterans Association and is a memorial to the deeds and sacrifices of ordinary people and provides an avenue to the Cenotaph. The black marble and granite memorial is in the form of an arch surmounted by an eternal flame. The floor of the memorial is polished marble with a world globe diagram etched in the centre. On each of the four pillars is a plaque representing one of the four areas of service - Army, Navy, Air Force and Civilian.

ANZAC Way recognises the contribution of all Australians to the maintenance and protection of basic human freedoms worldwide.
