The tree facing this Club from across the bowling green is a direct descendant of the original Lone Pine standing at Gallipoli where Australia Forces landed on Sunday 25th April, 1915.

A seed from the original Lone Pine at Gallipoli was grown by Mrs. G. T. McMullen, and presented to the Inverell RSL Sub Branch.

A seedling from this Inverell tree was presented to the Bombala RSL Sub Branch where it now stands proudly in memory of all those who have defended our great country
