The Aleppo Pine Plaque gives the history of the Aleppo Pine, a descendant of which was planted opposite the Bombala RSL Club in memory of all those who have defended Australia.

THE TREE FACING THIS CLUB FROM ACROSS THE BOWLING GREEN  IS A DIRECT DESCENDANT OF THE ORIGINAL 

LONE PINE STANDING AT GALLIPOLI 
WHERE THE AUSTRALIAN FORCES LANDED ON SUNDAY 25th APRIL, 1915. 
A SEED FROM THE ORIGINAL LONE PINE AT GALLIPOLI WAS GROWN BY  MRS. G.T.McMULLEN, AND PRESENTED TO THE INVERELL RSL SUB BRANCH.

A SEEDLING FROM THIS INVERELL TREE WAS PRESENTED TO THE BOMBALA RSL SUB BRANCH WHERE IT NOW STANDS PROUDLY IN  MEMORY OF ALL THOSE WHO HAVE DEFENDED OUR GREAT COUNTRY.
