The Matraville Returned Services League Memorial commemorates those from the Matraville-Malabar District who lost their lives in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial underwent extensive restoration work in 2003 and was rededicated in 2004.

THIS MEMORIAL DEDICATED TO OUR FALLEN COMRADES
HAS HAD MANY HOMES THROUGHOUT OUR DISTRICT
OVER THE PAST 50 YEARS.
EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS WERE CARRIED OUT IN 2003
THE MEMORIAL HAS BEEN RELAID WITH THE FINEST RED GRANITE.
THE RESTORATION WORK WAS UNDERTAKEN BY THE 
COMMITTEE AND MEBERS OF THE MALABAR RSL SUB BRANCH
AND WAS REDEDICATED IN 2004.
