This stone unveiled 4th September 1948 by Brig-Gen J. C. Robertson C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O., V.D.

Marks the commencement of the memorial to those of this School who fell in the wars

Left Side Inscription

T. G. S. Old Boys` Memorial Oval

The first turf to mark the commencement of work on this Oval was turned by Maj. Gen. N. Clowes C.B.E. D.S.O.  M. C. on Sept. 2nd 1950
