Oatley Memorial Gardens commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The Gardens are approximately four hectares in size and is home to a large number of heritage trees and shrubbery. In 1941, Kogarah Municipal Council engineer, Mr Brewer drew up plans for the parkland. The Oatley Gardens War Memorial is a commemorative element within the Gardens. The gardens contain a children's playground which opened 2010.
