This memorial was dedicated by Lieut-General Sir William Bridgeford K.B.E., C.B., M.C. on 25th April 1958

Plaque 2 :

This location was the site of the first Cenotaph in Horsham dedicated 25th April 1958

A subsequent memorial/cenotaph, located in Memorial Drive (Sawyer Park) was dedicated 18th April 2004
