The Field of Remembrance commemorates Australian servicemen and women who have served in all wars and conflicts.

The garden in the shape of a boomerang has been planted under the Lone Pine established by the Gulgong RSL Sub-branch on Anzac Day in 2000.

It contains tall crosses representing different branches of the armed forces: the Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Army, the Royal Australian Air Force, the Merchant Navy, Women’s Services and the Unknown Warriors. Beneath the different branches’ insignia is room to plant white crosses as memorials to fallen personnel.
